Thank you! I'm a big fan of mixing the mundane and familiar in with fantasy and the unknown. I feel like it creates a cool alternate universe effect where the reader feels like magic *could* be happening somewhere right now. I think it's part of why I love modernized fairy tales so much (I'll say again the I loved your piece a lot!).
